Time to ready pools and review pool procedures

The City of Oshkosh pool will be opening soon for its third full season. The $2.2 million pool was built in 2015 with an $800,000 bond, grants and other donations including a $100,000 slide donated to the city. The League Association of Risk Management (LARM), a Nebraska insurance pool, reminds pool operators when readying their pools for the summer that their policies should also be reviewed. Swimming pool rules should be clearly posted. Emergency plans should be evaluated and adjusted as needed. For more information about pool safety go to The Department of Health and Human Services website on swimming pool safety.
