This week Nebraska communities and Natural Resource Districts will be receiving a complimentary copy of the Open Meetings Act from LARM. By law, it is required that at least one current copy of the Open Meetings Act [Nebraska Revised Statutes sections 84-1407—84-1414] be posted in the meeting room of your public entity and is accessible to the public.

There was a revision made to the Open Meetings Act in the 2019 Nebraska State Legislature to allow a board conference call to last up to five hours. The most recent version of the Open Meetings Act is printed on the enclosed poster and will be in effect as of September 1, 2019.  Please replace any previous versions with this poster at that time.
