The City of Imperial recently purchased body armor for the Imperial Police Department with funds received from a Lean on LARM Safety Grant. Jo Leyland, Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer of the City of Imperial, applied for the funds made available to members of the League Association of Risk Management (LARM). LARM is an insurance pool made up of 167 governmental agencies across Nebraska. The funds are made available upon application for items that would improve safety in the community. Over 150 $500 Lean on LARM grants have been given to communities by LARM since 2018.
