This week, Governor Pete Ricketts announced an initiative to expand COVID-19 testing across the state – 540,000 tests will soon be available for use.
Testnebraska.com is a website set up to identify where the state testing needs to occur and what the risk levels are of Nebraska citizens. Each Nebraska resident is urged to go to the site and take a five-minute assessment as to their exposure to the virus and any underlying health conditions that might put them at risk. As of April 22, 2020, over 20,000 people have already accessed the site.
The Governor emphasized that the information submitted on the Test Nebraska site will be confidential and is encrypted from unauthorized users.
