Disaster Relief Funds

Disaster Relief Assistance Funds

Nebraska communities across the state were hit with an unprecedented widespread storm – some termed it a “bomb cyclone”.  Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts in consultation with the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency issued an emergency declaration for the state effective March 12, 2019.  Communities have incurred extra expenses for clean-up efforts, sump pumps, generator rentals and other disbursements.

In considering how to aid LARM members, LARM Board members have approved $500 in Disaster Relief Assistance funds available immediately for individual members affected by the March 12-14, 2019 storm. To be approved for the $500 in relief funds, a community must be a LARM member and must submit receipts for materials or services incurred solely as a result of the storm.  The receipts must be dated between March 12, 2019 and May 12, 2019. Requests must be submitted by June 12, 2019

If you have any questions about the program please contact Diane Becker at diane.becker@larmpool.org or 402-314-6827.
