The Village of Ansley made improvements to the Ansley Park this summer using a $500 Lean on LARM Safety Grant to partially fund the project. Village Clerk Lanette Doane said a rubber mulch was placed in the playground area next to the picnic shelter. New equipment, an extension to the playground border and a concrete approach were all part of the park improvement project. The grant was awarded to Ansley from the League Association of Risk Management (LARM), an insurance pool made up of government entities across Nebraska. For more information go to www.larmpool.org.
