The Village of Emerson was recently awarded a Lean on LARM Safety Grant of $500 towards the purchase of security cameras. Dawn Habhab, Emerson's Community and Economic Director, applied for the grant made available from the League Association of Risk Management (LARM). LARM is an insurance pool made up of 170 governmental entities across Nebraska. LARM members submit applications for the grant in order to purchase an item that would promote safety in their community. Over 150 Lean on LARM Safety Grants have been given out to Nebraska communities since the program's inception in 2018. For more information go to www.larmpool.org.
