M. Layne Groseth, North Platte City Administrator/Utility Director, is one of the newest members of the LARM Board of Directors.  He has been the City Administrator for about a year and a half and has been with the City of North Platte since January, 2019. Layne started his city management career in Albion, Nebraska in 1994. From 2000-2018, he had a varied career in marketing, sales, and management.

Layne was born in Mullen, Nebraska, and grew up in the Stapleton, North Platte and Maxwell areas on a cattle ranch. He and his wife of 33 years have four adult children and six grandchildren. They enjoy attending concerts, visiting new places, doing church ministry, and spending time with family.

Layne began his three year term on the 15-member LARM Board of Directors on January 1, 2024.
