The City of Blue Hill recently purchased safety barricades and signs and reflective apparel using funds from a $500 Lean on LARM Safety Grant. Tricia Allen, City of Blue Hill Clerk/Treasurer, when applying for the grant said, " we are purchasing reflective safety rain jackets and safety pants to make the city workers highly visible in rainy conditions." The safety signs would be installed at the city yard waste site and sewer lagoons while the reflective traffic cones would be used on the city streets.
The League Association of Risk Management awards the grant to LARM members to purchase safety items for their communities.
