The Village of Uehling used a $500 Lean on LARM Safety Grant to purchase flashing lights for the village's street barricades. Vince Kruger, village Public Works superintendent, said the flashing lights were put on road barricades to better warn drivers of hazards in the streets at night.

The League Association of Risk Management (LARM) provides the grants to LARM members for items that would promote safety in their communities.
