The City of Bennet was recently the recipient of a Lean on LARM Safety Grant that was used towards purchasing an automated external defibrillator (AED), a portable device used to treat someone whose heart has suddenly stopped working. Marlene Sturdy, City of Bennet Administrative Aid/Codes Enforcement, applied for the grant. The League Association of Risk Management (LARM) offers the $500 grant to its members for the purchase of safety items for their communities.
