The City of North Platte Police Department received a $700 LARM Armor Grant to purchase a bulletproof vest for one of its officers. Deputy Police Chief Kendal Allison applied for the grant that will be worn by North Platte Police Officer Seth Bargell.

The League Association of Risk Management (LARM) makes the grant available to its members who have a police department and a mandatory vest-wear policy.
