Congratulations to the City of Louisville on receiving a Lean on LARM Safety Grant!

The City of Louisville was recently awarded a Lean on LARM Safety Grant to purchase safety apparel. Tava Tomanek-Powell, City of Louisville Clerk/Treasurer, applied for the $500 grant. In requesting the grant to purchase reflective winter coats for city workers, Tomanek-Powell stated that "being cold doesn't just risk frostbite or hypothermia; equipment becomes harder to operate, and tools are harder to hold onto," which increases the risk of injury.

The League Association of Risk Management (LARM) offers the Lean on LARM Safety Grant to its members to purchase items that contribute to safety in their communities.
