Brooke Schmidt, the Village of Platte Center Clerk, is racking up the miles as a team of one in a virtual trek across Nebraska. There are many teams of one who are participating in the virtual walk across Nebraska (a total distance of 592 miles from Harrison to Falls City.) The goal is to complete the distance by December 31, 2026. The LARM staff Walkamoles and LARMchair Athletes have virtually walked through North Platte on their trek to Falls City.

Here's how to start:

• Organize a team of one, two, three, four, or five of your village or city staff.
• No Registration- Just start walking. You can use this tally sheet to track your progress.
• Be among the first 100 to reach 592 miles by December 31, 2026, and get a LARM water bottle.
