The City of Chadron recently used a $500 Lean on Larm Safety Grant to purchase 15 first-aid kits. According to Kelsey Shafer, City of Chadron Accounting Clerk, the kits were distributed among Public Works and Police Department fleets.

"These kits ensure that every primary-use service vehicle is fully equipped to handle minor workplace injuries. Previously, personnel had to leave active job sites and return to a central office or maintenance shop to access basic medical supplies. By decentralizing these resources directly into field vehicles, the city eliminates response delays, keeps crews efficiently on-site, and fosters a proactive environment for employee health and safety," Shafer said.

The League Association of Risk Management (LARM) offers the Lean on LARM Safety Grant to its members to purchase safety items for their communities.
